Nails of the Week: a different stylish take on Christmas

Winter is the perfect opportunity to indulge in darker nail polish and glitters. I’ll save the sparkle for New Year’s Eve, but I have been drawn to darker shades for Christmas in stead of the traditional vibrant red. After some deliberation I’ve decided to stick with a traditional Christmas color after all: the deep dark green of Essie Stylenomics. This beautiful cream shade, one step away from black, looks sophisticated and just a little different. Like all Essie polishes, it is easy to apply, long lasting, and only requires two thin coats to look reach the perfect deep green.

Really nice colour! I love how it’s a deep dark shade, yet not a standard black colour. Looks good!

Cute huh! I love that I can wear darker shades in winter.

Recently though, I was wearing lovely dark/almost black burgundy when I was asked by a man ‘whether my nails reflected my soul”….
