Several of my trusted skincare products are running low, so I did a bit of online shopping. On a side note, the recent boom in organic skincare has made it so widely available and easy to obtain. I cannot even imagine how difficult it must have been only ten years ago to find decent organic products, let alone have them delivered to your doorstep in a matter of days.
I have recently switched to the facial oil by Antipodes and the first results are very promising, so I decided to choose their Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream and Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream. That last one just sounds so lovely, doesn’t it?!
I was also looking to replace my trusty Lush Eau Roma toner with something else and I ended up with the Melvita Damask Rose Floral Water. I just love the smell of roses and the effect rosewater has on my skin, so it was a no-brainer. I will start using all of this soon, so you can expect to read full reviews on the blog in about two months time when I have tested them properly.
As a gift, I received the Look Fantastic April Beauty Box. I was rather curious, as I have never had a beauty box perscription before: most of the lovely ones I see on other blogs are not delivered here. Unpacking the box is rather exciting, that lovely feeling of unwrapping a gift. My box contained a Inika Eye Pencil in Coco, a bar of Korres Milk Soap, a box of Forza 30 day multivitamins for dieters, CB12 First Class Breath, and a Balance me Revitalising Hand and Body wash. A nice mix of products and a great gift with purchase.
Just a final little blog announcement: as some of you may have noticed I normally post in English and Dutch. I am a little busy at the moment, so I will just post in English for the coming week or two as this saves me quite a bit of time. This means I can still do daily updates! Please let me through the comments or my email if you miss the Dutch translation or if you can do without it.
