Another month has passed, so lets discuss another round of empty products! This month contains some skincare favorites of mine, so prepare for some enthusiastic raving.
Let’s just start of with what I think might be my favorite skincare product ever. The Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil has featured several times on this blog, including in this review of Trilogy skincare. It is a great natural rosehip oil that has truly turned my skin around. This is the star of the range, but I am also a big fan of the moisturisers and cleansers.
The Superfacialist by Una Brennan Skin Renew Cleansing Oil is a great budget oil cleanser. It removes make-up like a dream and leaves you skin feeling soft and wonderful. The potent orange smell is equally lovely. The only thing I truly hate is the packaging: it is impossible to use this without getting messy. Please just introduce a little pump!
The balance Me Wonder Eye Cream is a simple yet effective eye cream. It works well underneath make-up and leaves your skin hydrated and smooth. You can read my full review here.
The only product this month that I wouldn’t repurchase is the Mac Studio Careblend Pressed Powder. It isn’t bad, but I much prefer the Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural I reviewed earlier this week. This is too matte and a little cakey in comparison.
The Maybelline the Colossal Volum’ Mascara Waterproof looks lovely on my lashes, but my eyes start reacting if I use this too often. Once in a while is fine, but I can’t use it every day. Too bad, the effect is really nice.
So, that was another round of empties. Have you tried any of these?
