The lovely Amazing Grace lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury inspired me to create a slightly retro make-up look. The color just reminds me of old glamour and Hollywood, so I went with a flawless base, eyeliner, and some lovely curls.
Most of the products I used have already been reviewed here on the blog. You can find the full details and links to the reviews beneath the photograph, but I wanted to talk a little about the Diorskin Star foundation I used as a base.
I received a lovely sample of this at the Dior counter and wanted to share my first impressions with you. I love the light feel of this foundation, it just glides on. It provides a lovely natural finish, but covers any redness or flaws. I received a sample of color 020 Light Beige, but found this ever so slightly too dark. I am a little afraid the lighter 010 will be too light, but I will be dropping by a counter soon to have another look. If i can just find the perfect color match, this has everything I look for in a great foundation.
