Trilogy Gentle Facial Exfoliant

Exfoliating your face is the trick to fresh and clear skin. Some facial scrubs seem to take this to the extreme with huge particles that just seem made to irritate my sensitive skin. Because of this, I tend to prefer chemical exfoliators. They just seem to work better for my skin type and are more effective at dealing with spots.

Trilogy Gentle Facial Exfoliant

One exception to the rule is the Trilogy Gentle Facial Exfoliant. Not a big surprise, perhaps, as this brand just seems to work so well for my skin. So far, I have liked everything I have tried.

Trilogy Gentle Facial Exfoliant

This particular scrub combines rosehip, jojoba, and camelia with very small scrub particles. The very fine nature of the particles means this scrub does not irritate my sensitive skin, while the addition of rosehip and other hydrating ingredients keep my skin feeling soft and moisturised. Factor in the lovely floral smell and you can imagine why I love this scrub.

I think this scrub is great for every skintype. Use it once to twice a week for lovely soft radiant skin.

Such a lovely brand, have a look at their rosehip oil: an absolute winner!

Usually yes! The Pixi Glow tonic is nice but a little tricky to get. Ren also does an exfoliating toner, very mild, reasonably affordable and easy to get!

It made a lot of difference for me, but it is just so dependent on your skin type. Just give it a go.

It is lovely, but I still prefer my acid toners! So much easier, really must get my hands on those First Aid radiance pads πŸ™‚

Maybe try a liquid/acid toner? Works really well, but this is a great one if your prefer a physical exfoliator!

This sounds like a lovely product, great post. I have dermalogoca microfoliant which works really well for my skin, no particles the formula itself just removes the dead skin cells. I also have an electronic facial cleanser that I use once a week.xx

I love my Pixi Glow Tonic with acids, but it is nice to change it up a little with this one πŸ™‚
I have never tried an electronic cleanser, not sure my sensitive skin would appreciate it…how does it work for you?

It’s too much to use on my skin which is prone to being sensitive every day, but I do find it’s ok to use weekly with a sensitive brush head. I’ll have to look into your Pixi Glow Tonic xx πŸ˜€

Hmm I have very sensitive skin as well, which is why I have just avoided it so far.
I love Pixi Glow but Ren also does a great gentle one πŸ™‚

It’s a difficult one because the electrical cleansers can be expensive and you don’t want to waste your money. I started off using mine every day as recommended and my skin was like ‘nope!’ I tried using it less often and it’s fine xx
