Good enough to eat: Pai Avocado & Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream

Organic skincare has transitioned from niche to mainstream in the last couple of years, shaking of its dusty image through celebrity endorsements, raving beauty bloggers, and perhaps more importantly brands that aim to produce high quality products that look just as good as other high end skincare. Pai is certainly one of those companies.

Organic Pai Avocado and Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream

This British company produces organic products for sensitive skins that look and feel luxurious. Just have a look at the packaging of the Pai Avocado & Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream: a sleek frosted white glass bottle with a convenient pump. This looks perfectly at home on your dressing table next to high end skincare and pretty perfume bottles. But what about the content of the bottle?

Organic Pai Avocado and Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream

The Avocado & Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream belongs to the pure hydration line, aimed at dry and dehydrated sensitive skin. Obviously, this cream contains no alcohol or parabens and has received an organic certification from the Soil Association. The main ingredients are Avocado and Jojoba oil to help moisturise your skin and the cream has a delicate floral scent.

This is a lovely rich moisturiser that absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving an oily or tacky layer. I leave it to settle for about five minutes before doing my make-up (time for a much needed morning coffee), but you could start straight away if you wanted to. This moisturiser leaves your skin feeling soft and smelling lovely.

Pai aims at the higher segment of the market and this is reflected in the price: $55 £32/€42 for a 50 ml bottle. The great quality and lovely packaging make it well worth the money if you ask me! Besides, this is still significantly less than the high end brands charge for a single jar.

Have you ever tried anything by Pai? Do let me know!

It is really nice 😀 I think if you did a blind test, people would not recognize this one as organic 🙂

Hi Mil! Avocado is just yummy. And it has been doing great on my skin 🙂 I think you can order them online, but I don’t think they have really made waves yet in the States. It really is a nice brand though.

From their own website. Does free European shipping, adds nice samples and has great offers every now and then!
