Secret to great hair: Colab Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is an absolute lifesaver for me! I like that they help extend the time between washes by removing mild grease, but I love the volume they give my fine hair even more.

I have always been a Batiste kinda girl, but I was very curious about the Colab range of dry shampoos by one of my beauty blogging hero’s: Ruth from A Model Recommends.

There are two options: the Sheer Invisible and Extreme Volume ranges. I bought one of each – obviously – but today I want to review the Sheer Invisible range. There are even mini’s, perfect for your handbag. The full sized can costs £3,50/€5.

I choose Paris:

an enchanting floral bouquet of Jasmine & Rose with a touch of Patchouli”

Who could resist a product described like that?! It does have a nice floral fragrance, but it isn’t overly present once you apply the dry shampoo to your hair.

This certainly lives up to the Sheer and Invisible name: none of that irritating white residue. It removes grease effectively and gives your hair that little volume boost I adore.

I love this dry shampoo and on my hair I think it does a little better than Batiste! Quite an achievement. Maybe I should do a post comparing the two, what do you think?! My review of the Extreme Volume version will be up next week.

Colab Dry Shampoo Paris (1)Er zijn twee types: Sheer Invisible and Extreme Volume.

The sheer Colab is my absolute favorite drugstore dry shampoo, and even is a pretty great match against my previous HG one from Klorane. I didn’t get along well with the extra volume version of it, but the sheer line is absolutely magical! =D

It is just really great! I have to say I quite like the extreme version so far, but have only used it a couple of times. What do you dislike about it?

I’m so glad the extreme volume works for you!!! I just found it to be a bit too, well gritty might be the right word, for my naturally-wavey-dehydrated hair. It gave a bunch of volume, but wasn’t as manageable as when I use other texture sprays.

I can imagine, it is the difference between our natural textures I think. My fine hair just needs that grit or it will fall flat again 😉

It has very limited availibility – superdrug and feelunique I believe – but they are really nice. I hope they will expand soon 🙂
      Thanks 😀

I’m so glad you like this! I tried Batiste ages ago and I found the white residue to be too much to handle.
Then I bought the Colab and I was SO impressed! Absolutely no residue yet works wonderfully to get rid of limp hair and dirty hair smell (ick). I’ve only tried the Extreme Volume one so yes, please do a comparison. 🙂 I have the fragrance in Rio.

Batiste was my former favorite, since I have lighter hair the white residue isn’t as irritating or visible. Colab has blown them out of the water though 🙂
I love the extreme volume one as well, might like it a little more but I still have to test it some more. Will certainly do a comparison post!

klinkt ideaal.

Zulke mooie krullen 😀
