First Impressions: Radiant Skin Beauty Box

During my online search for a new face mask, I had spotted the Radiant Skin Beauty Box on FeelUnique. A great deal as it is and when I received a code for an additional discount… well, some bargains are just too good to resist.

Radiant Skin Beauty Box by FeelUnique

The Radiant Skin Beauty Box contains four different products aimed at giving you a glowing complexion: two face masks, a hydrating and an acid toner. The box retails for £35/€50/$55, half of what all the products are worth. Delivery is free and they run regular promotions, so well worth the wait to get this at an unbelievable price.

I will do full reviews on each of the products once I have tested them fully, but I wanted to share my first impressions with you in this post.

GLAMGLOW Youthmud

The first product in the box is a luxury 15 gram sample of this famous mud mask. I do love a good mud mask for properly clean skin and of course scaring the neighbors or delivery man who always seem to come calling when you have just slapped this on.

This produces a tingling sensation on the skin: I would usually strip of any mask that does that immediately but this is supposed to. Expect a full review in a couple of weeks, I am still on the fence about this on.

Ren Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial

The box also contains a full sized Ren Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial. I love the idea of a quick face mask: great for stressful weeks when your skin needs a little pick-me-up but you simple don’t have time for a proper pampering session.

The mask has a really refreshing citrus smell and my first impression is very positive. I will put it through its paces in the next few weeks.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads

This little jar contains 28 pads soaked in an acid toner. Simply grab a pad and wipe across your face. The acid toner will exfoliate your skin and should leave it radiant.

I have only tried one of these, as I was testing the Pixi Glow Tonic, but convenience is key here. I can see these working very well for travel. You will have to wait for the full review to here is they are just as effective as Pixi’s famous acid toner.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

This is a facial spritz mentioned by many big bloggers and celebrities as a must have. A little spritz after moisturiser is supposed to help restore a glowing complexion.

I have owned this before and wasn’t blown away by it, but I am giving it another go and will let you know how we get along this time around.

That is the entire Radiant Skin Beauty Box, decent value for money I think. Anything here you want to try?

Radiant Skin Beauty Box by FeelUnique

Radiant Skin Beauty Box by FeelUnique

Ren Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads

Ren is turning out to be quite a good affordable brand 😀 So far, I have loved most of the stuff I have tried. Have you had any of their products?

I have to say they really make some great products, but for some reason they don’t excite me as much as other brands. Will try the serums next, thanks for the tip!

Hmm Glamglow and I are not getting along I am afraid.
The Caudalie elixir is nice enough, I just don’t think it it worth all the extra hype. Simply a decent toner if you know what I mean. But maybe I’ll change my mind and find it revolutionary now 😉

First the Kiehl’s Midnight Concentrate and now GlamGlow? My faves are letting you down! Bummer! I hope you have better luck with the others 🙂

Well, the Kiehl’s concentrate was fine, it was the eye version that nearly did me in! Strange huh, my skin is weirdly sensitive to some things.

Oh interesting! You’d think if your skin was sensitive to one, it would be sensitive to both…

It was the weirdest reaction just underneath my eye, exactly where I applied the eye cream…don’t know what it was, don’t care for trying again 😉

The GlamGlow mask did a lot more than tingle for me, I had to wash it off immediately. It was too strong for my sensitive skin!

Pff so irritating isn’t it?! I tried it again yesterday and had to take it off after a couple of minutes. Really too bad.

I will certainly give it another go. It isn’t like I disliked it last time, it just didn’t do much more than my normal toner. What do you love about it? xx

Will take me a couple of weeks to test this properly, but I am afraid the mud mask hasn’t blown me away so far.
