Blogger Made Me Buy It Part 2

Blogging about beauty has been an amazing experience – made even better by the amazing community of fellow bloggers and readers: thank you! – but it comes with one small occupational hazard: temptation to buy all of those pretty products you read about on other blogs!

In this second edition of ‘blogger made me buy it’ I will show you the latest products I bought after seeing them on a variety of other beauty blogs.

Blogger made me buy it with Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk

This has been named a must-have product by many bloggers and with good reason: this is an amazing nude lip pencil. The formula is amazing, allowing you to reshape your lips (asymmetry tends to be emphasized by bright colors) and providing a long lasting base. To see what this looks like on my lips, check out my original review.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Amazing Grace

The second thing I absolutely wanted to try from Charlotte Tilbury was one of the lovely matte lipsticks. I eventually settled on Amazing Grace, a retro rose color that just looks great and is so comfortable to wear. Not your everyday matte lippy. Charlotte Tilbury has really impressed me so far with these two products, I cannot wait to try some more. Any suggestions?

Mac Cremesheen Lipstick in Peach Blossom

I recently purchased my first ever Mac lipstick: an item no self respecting beauty blogger can be without. I set out to find a great nude shade and I might just have succeeded in finding the perfect ‘my lips but better’ color on my first try. Now I totally understand what all the fuss is about.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads

These lovely pads prepped with chemical exfoliant promises to create radiant skin and judging by the reaction of the blogosphere, they seem to manage rather well. Really can’t wait to start testing these, so convenient.

Colab Dry Shampoo in Paris

Dry shampoo is a beauty staple for me, but in my experience not all of them are created equal. This floral scented Colab version has beaten my old favorite (Batiste), do try this if you can get your hands on it.

Those were my recent beauty blogger inspired purchases. Does any of it sound familiar? Do let me know!

Blogger made me buy it with Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Amazing Grace

Suggesties?

Mac Cremesheen Lipstick in Peach Blossom

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads

Colab Dry Shampoo in Paris

Laat het me weten.

Same here! I love the lipstick but it is expensive so I will definitely save this for birthdays and spurge moments 🙂

It is $$$ so same here. I tried Birkin Brown and really love the color. Looks a little bit more like a berry color in the casing but such a gorgeous shade. 🙂
