July Empties

A little late perhaps, but I still wanted to share the products I finished in July with you as one of them is one of my favorite drugstore foundations.

July Empties: loreal, no7, garnier, catrice, body shop.

No7 Stay Perfect Foundation

I love the No7 foundation range, because the color selection is excellent. Drugstore foundations are often available in limited shades, so it can be tricky to find the right match. No7 has created a great range of different skin tones with excellent prices.

My favorite one so far is the Stay Perfect foundation in Calico. This is a great color match for my pale Winter skin and has a very natural effect. I don’t find it to be super longlasting on my skin, but set with powder and it will get you through the working day.

Catrice Absolute Eye Colour 340 Ooops…Nude Did it Again!

This single eyeshadow from Catrice is the perfect base color for me. It evens out any small color differences in my eyelids, so works perfectly on make-up light days. Despite the cheap price, it doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes in the slightest. Perfect drugstore buy.

July Empties: loreal, no7, garnier, catrice, body shop.

Loreal Express Eye Makeup Remover

For me, this is the ultimate Waterproof eye makeup remover. It removes heavy makeup quickly and effectively without any irritation. I have tried quite a few, but this is still the one to beat. Suggestions are always welcome!

Zuzka Royal Gold Nourishing Day Cream*

This is a good and natural hydrating daycream that works well as a base underneath makeup. It has a very marked honey scent that you’ll either love or hate: I find it a little overwelming but it disappates quickly after application.

July Empties: loreal, no7, garnier, catrice, body shop.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Micellar cleansing waters are just so convenient to have around (great for removing swatches #bbloggerproblems) and very convenient during short trips. This Garnier version is affordable and very similar to the famous Bioderma one. One note of caution: this and micellar waters in general are not the best choice for sensitive skin. I can use it on short city trips, but prefer creamy or balm cleansers on a regular basis.

Body Shop Moringa Beautifying Oil

This dry oil is lovely for the body! I am particularly bad at remembering to use body creams, so my legs can end up being very dry. A little swipe of this oil is like magic. The Moringa version has a great scent: sweet but not overly so.

Those were my July empties. Let me know if you love or hate any of these, always curious to see how others experience products!

July Empties: loreal, no7, garnier, catrice, body shop.

No7 Stay Perfect Foundation

Catrice Absolute Eye Colour 340 Ooops…Nude Did it Again!

July Empties: loreal, no7, garnier, catrice, body shop.

Loreal Express Oogmake-up Remover

Zuzka Royal Gold Nourishing Day Cream*

July Empties: loreal, no7, garnier, catrice, body shop.

Garnier Micellair Reinigingswater

Body Shop Moringa Beautifying Oil

Ooh the body shop oil sounds really good. I agree that the micellar water is great for convenience but I tend to prefer using an oil to remove my makeup when I have time! Joanna xxx

The body shop oil is lovely, definitely one of their best products.
Same here, I love a good oil, cream or balm cleanser but very occasionally when I can’t be bothered I reach for the micellar.

Great stuff! Coincidentally I just bought the Garner Micellar water too – it was being sold for just 1 pound in the supermarket, couldn’t believe it!

You’re welcome 🙂 I am doing good thank you! How are you? Less than 2 months and I will be moving. I still have so much to do! I am such a procrastinator though and will probably get everything done at the last minute lol. How are things going in your new place? 🙂 xx

Great! Going well here. The last of the major DIY will take place today and then I just have to add furniture and decorations (i.e. the fun bit).
I know, I procrastinated about it forever but at the end you just have to get things in order. xxx

WOW, I’m super impressed / jealous that you finished an entire pan of eye shadow! BRAVO! It’s something I’ve yet to achieve in my life… #loftygoals
I love Body Shop Beautifying Oils! I should use mine more often… they are neglected right now in favour of some tropical smelling Bath & Body Works aloe gel lotions… hmmm.
