Confession time: I am horrible at taking care of my skin. Not my face mind you: my facial skincare routine is rather extensive and I follow it religiously. Taking care of the rest of the skin on my body seems to be another matter as I can never be bothered to apply body butters or lotions. As a result, my skin suffers in silence during the colder winter months. I think I may have found the solution though in the Trilogy Body Oil.
I love Halloween! Such a fun holiday and a great excuse to dress up and experiment with makeup and nail art. Unfortunately, we don’t really celibrate Halloween here, but I love getting in the spirit of things by at least rocking a little nail art. I have two great options this year and I hope you can help me decide which one to go for.
Like most people watching Adele’s Hello, I am moved by the song but it also leaves me with an undeniable urge for proper black eyeliner. How amazing do her eyes look in that video?! I will definitely be trying to copy that look and if I had to pick a product to do it with it would be the H&M Drama Cream Eyeliner.
This month’s empties contains two amazing holy grail products and one former favorite. Simply click on the full review link at the end of each section if you want to know a little more about that particular product. Let’s have a look at all of them, starting with the best of the bunch.
So far, all the items I have reviewed from the New H&M Beauty Department have been great quality. Time to see if the Lip Colour-To-Go pencils measure up to the mark.
Some of you may have spotted several products* by Bettes Handmade Organic Skincare in my current autumn skincare routine. This great Danish brand is run by the lovely Mette, who creates all products by hand using home grown herbs. Sounds like an amazing job and the entire range is a dream come true for an organic skincare lover like myself, so naturally I jumped at the opportunity to try the products. I want to kick off the reviews with the Beauty Serum*.
Do you have a favorite polish? The one that is essentially you in a bottle and you can’t stop wearing? Let me introduce you to mine: Essie’s Maximillian Strasse Her.
One of the new things I have discovered this fall is moss green eyeshadow. After seeing some amazing looks on beauty blogs and in magazines, I picked up Moss it Over from the New H&M beauty department and have been experimenting with it ever since.
My go-to brand for affordable yet high quality make up brushes is Zoeva. They are soft, wash well, and stay perfect even after years of use. Naturally, I turned to Zoeva when looking for a decent brush to apply lipstick and I found the 330 Lip Contour.
