So far, all the items I have reviewed from the New H&M Beauty Department have been great quality. Time to see if the Lip Colour-To-Go pencils measure up to the mark.
The Lip Colour-To-Go is described as a comfortable and hydrating formula with great color pay off in a convenient jumbo pencil. It retails for $6.99/£4.99/€5.99 and is available in eleven different colors. Anything from nude to vibrant red but I went straight for Bonne Vivante. It looked like a lovely pinky mauve My Lips But Better shade…
but on my lips it looks quite purple and cold. Still a okay color, but not quite what I was hoping for and not something I will wear often. I was also quite disappointed with the lasting power: this stays put for maybe two hours and needs to be retouched often to keep looking pristine.
There are also some redeeming qualities to the Lip Colour -To-Go. The color pay off is definitely there with decent coverage in a single coat and the formula is nice and creamy, so feels very comfortable to wear.
Another pet peeve of mine is that the color and ingredients are on a sticker and not printed directly on the pencil. These stickers tend to become dirty or loose, but removing them means you will never be able to tell what the color is. I know this is a budget beauty range, but it would have been much nicer to have at least the name printed on the pencil.
Unfortunately, the Lip Colour-To-Go hasn’t impressed me nearly as much as the rest of the H&M beauty range. An okay product, but not a must-have in my book.
Great post dear! Have a wonderful weekend:)

Does it come in other shades as well lovely? Nor the biggest fan of that glossiness! I’m in an all matte phase atm with my lip products! 😅xx, Annie | Annie’s Beauty

Several other shades! I agree, matte seems to be my autumn crush atm as well. Which is bad, because it makes me want more matte revolution shades from CT. xx

Chanel has been a bit off lately, but Christmas looks good again 🙂 CT is an obvious one, and even Lancome (not my usual brand) seems to have some great Christmas stuff.

True! Still not attractive to Lancome though! 😳🙈🙊xx

Good to know. I haven’t heard much about the lip products from H&M Beauty yet… most people going ga ga over the blushes and nail polishes! (which I’m most drawn to as well) Weird how the colour on the lips is so different than the pencil. And yes, I dislike when the product doesn’t have the colour name on it! Stupid stickers.

Oh the blushes are absolutely amazing! Loving the eyeliner and the polishes are nice (but not on par with my all time favorite Essie).

That’s such a shame! I hate it when the name comes off the product so you can’t remember what it is.

So irritating right! These stickers always get so dirty or just loose themselves at the bottom of my bag 😦

Interesting, good to know 🙂 I’ve been loving the jumble lip pencils. The ones I’ve been using is from Nars and I really love them!

Ah Nars! Such a great brand, I think those will be a bit better than the H&M versions 🙂 Do you have a favorite Nars shade?
