NOTW: Opi Christmas Gone Plaid

Opi Christmas Gone Plaid Dark Green Nail Polish Swatch

You might have already spotted this aptly named polish in my post on nail ideas for Christmas, but I wanted to talk about it a bit more.

Finding the perfect dark green polish is quite tricky: they are either too bright or so dark they are nearly black. Opi’s Chistmas Gone Plaid is that perfect seasonal green.

The polish itself is easy to apply with the runny formula and broad brush. It lasts reasonably well, although Essie seems to hold out just a little longer.

I haven’t got many Opi polishes in my collections: should I try more? You can leave your favorite must try colors in the comments.

I prefer Essie to OPI ever since OPI switched to that enormous Pro-Wide brush, but they’re both nice (and can be a bit hit & miss!). That’s a stunning deep green! Gotta keep my eyes peeled for it.

I prefer Essie as well. Seems to last a bit longer on my nails. Haven’t tried the enormous brush yet but too wide is never good.

This was a great find, dark green can be so tricky. Love the sound of the one you recommended so I ll be in the lookout for that

I don’t think opi do many greens but this one is worth it. Just use me as an excuse 😉
