Edinburgh Haul

edinburgh mini haul with colab hourglass real techniquesEdinburgh is a truly magical city and I had a great time strolling though it’s medieval streets and soaking in the sights. I still managed to do a little beauty shopping on the side, so here is my mini haul.

I picked up three cans of my favorite new dry shampoo Colab, since it isn’t currently available in the Netherlands. I choose the normal sheer invisible formula in floral paris and classic London as well as a convenient handbag mini in fruity New York. edinburgh mini haul with real techniques

I also had a little rummage through Boots and picked up one of my favorite eye makeup removers (it was on sale, I truly cannot resist a bargain). I picked up two new Real Techniques sponges since my old one really needed replacing as well as another Makeup Revolution Redemption palette. I eventually settled in the neutral shades in Iconic 1, the same one I gifted my mom for Christmas.

The star of my little haul has to be the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. There is no counter here, so I was thrilled to find a Space NK that carried Hourglass in Edinburgh. After some deliberation I picked the classic palette, so I can try three lovely shades. I cannot wait to start using this to see if it lives up to the hype, although I have to get over ruining the amazing pristine look of it.

A little mini haul, since I was travelling with hand luggage only and honestly was a little too busy seeing all the pretty sights of the city to spend much time shopping. I’ll do a little post on the city once I have sorted out my photos to show you just how lovely it was.

Having spent 8 years of my life in Scotland, I know how beautiful the country is(and cold too). Also, sight seeing and shopping are popular in Edinburgh too. And, I hope you had a lovely time in Edinburgh and I can’t wait to see more of it pretty soon.

It is such a magical place. You were so lucky to live there. Except for the weather but I was mostly lucky.
