Dutch pharmacy brand Etos might not ring a bell for many of my international readers, but they have seriously revamped their make-up range making it worth a blog post or two. As far as I am aware, these items are not available abroad anywhere, but perhaps a nice original idea next time you stop by Amsterdam. Frugal Nail Polish Purchase

You may be a bit puzzled by this image of an advent calender in February, as it is not quite the traditional time of year for them. It is easily explained, however, if you know a little about me. I cannot resist a good deal you see. I don’t mind splashing the cash on high end make-up or skincare (after thoroughly investigating the products online), but bagging a good bargain makes me feel great. So when I found this Essence Advent Calender with 20 polishes on sale for a mere €2 (yes you read that right, about $2.25 or £1.55) I skipped to the cash register with my impulse buy.
