Winning Mud: Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask

Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask Moor Mud

Face masks! I have tested my fair share of them and most do very little or nothing at all. Those fresh face masks by Lush are were my favorite, leaving my skin feeling soft but not doing much else for me. But I have found a face mask so effective, it scares me a little…

meet the Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask. We’ll get to all the details in a bit, but let me assure you that the folks at Omorovicza mean it when they say this ‘draws out impurities’. The morning after I first tested this, I looked in the mirror and found a whole bunch of sudden pimples and blemishes. They disappeared quickly and my skin looked amazing afterwards. Draws out impurities indeed. Definitely effective, but make sure not to use this a day before you have anything major.

Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask Moor MudThe basis of the mask is Hungarian Moor Mud which contains calcium and magnesium carbonate to give that deep cleansing effect and provides a healthy and brighter skin. The creamy texture makes the mask easy to apply and it smooths out nicely so you don’t need a lot to cover your face. You can feel the mask working as there is a slight tingling sensation in the first minutes, but I didn’t find it uncomfortable.

You leave the mask for about 15 to 20 minutes and remove with a warm wet cloth. It comes off easily and your skin looks instantly fresh and smooth. I love being able to see instant results from the face mask, not an experience I have had very often. This stuff is pretty powerful however, so I haven’t been using it regularly. In stead, I reach for it when my skin needs a little boost or when my hormones are all over the place creating those awful impurities. Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask Moor Mud

My miracle jar of Deep Cleaning Mask is in fact a luxury sample containing 15 ml of product. I received this as a Gift With Purchase and have been loving trying these amazing Omorovicza products. The price of this miracle mud might scare you just as much as the effectiveness: the full sized 50 ml glass jar will set you back $120 / £57 / €80. It is quite the struggle: frugal me thinks this is a lot to pay for any skincare product, but skincare obsessed me loved the results.

Thankfully, I can postpone any repurchase decision for a bit as a little Moor Mud goes a long way and I can enjoy my sample for a while longer. I was really impressed by the effect of this face mask and cannot wait to try the other two mini Omorovicza products from the GWP. Have you tried any of their products? Anything I should definitely consider?

Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask Moor MudGezichtsmaskers!

Eep, that price tag! It sounds AMAZING though. I really could have used this last week, as my skin was freaking out for no discernible reason. I can’t believe how dramatic your results were! I just looked it up and Sephora stocks it online, but not in stores (near me, anyway). I was hoping to snag a sample!

I know, I had a moment of shock when I looked up the exact prices. I mean, I know the stuff is pricey but wow. However, it is actually super effective. Big dilemma, though I think you need to try a sample before you can consider buying something this crazy expensive. x Anne

Fab review Anne & it sounds ahhhmazing, but wow £57 is just a little beyond my limits for any facemask as I’m (bizarrely) blessed with pretty okay skin, however if it were a problem and really getting me down I’d definitely spend the money then for sure… especially if my skin was affecting my self confidence etc. Wonderful to hear the amazing effects, sounds fantastic!!! Xxx

It is both amazingly effective and crazy expensive. I sort of forgot about the price until I checked it again for the review.
This is super luxury and it isn’t worth it if you have decent skin.I have the same issue you are having, my skin is generally well behaved, though this stuff is magic for those hormonal pimples. xx Anne

It’s one of those things that I’d love to try a teeny sample pot of on a really bad day, just to see how awesome it is lol Just don’t have enough bad skin days – though mustn’t grumble at that 😉 XXX

Oh I get it. i don’t think my skin is bad enough to justify a full sized purchase either, but I will enjoy my sample while it lasts! xo Anne

The price is a bit of a shock! I am very happy with the sample. not sure I could ever get myself to spend that much on a mask.

I absolutely love this mask & the Thermal Cleansing Balm is one of my favourite cleansers! I love the Queen of Hungary Mist too & Refining Facial Polisher. I was treated to a serum from the Gold range at Christmas & am using it sparingly because it is so expensive! Would love to try more from the brand xx

It is amazing right! I just wish it was a little less pricey.I still have to test the thermal cleansing balm and face mist, really looking forward to those. The golden serum sounds lovely, lucky you! xx

What a great gwp from Omorovicza! But yeah… the price point is just too prohibitive. I just checked, and it’s $120 CAD for a jar of this! 😮 I wouldn’t want to try anything from them in case I fall in love. You’ll have to see if you can find a less expensive dupe for this! I just read the ingredients and it doesn’t seem THAT proprietary or unique. 😕

I totally agree, I was so lucky to get this GWP with an online order of something else, but the prices are eyewatering. I really love this mask, but I am not sure I could ever part with that much cash for a face mask. I’ll be checking online reviews for a dupe.
