Oh Boots! That lovely beauty paradise recently got my hopes up by opening a small store right around the corner. No longer would I have to fly to the UK to get my fix of No7, I could simply hop on my bike and swatch products a mere five minutes away. You can imagine how I felt when I walked in and found out they don’t stock any cosmetics…
Last week, I introduced you to Latvian natural brand Be.Loved through their Rose Rain toner. Now I love my rosewater (and really anything rose), so the true test of this brand was in the second product I tried: their Follow Your Bliss Tangerine Balancing Face Serum*.

The little ritual of applying your make-up is very personal and unique. I love watching vloggers apply their make-up to see their tips and tricks as well as unconscious habits they have picked up over the years. I know loads of you love buffing brushes for foundation, but I prefer the effect I get with a make-up sponge. Time to put another budget beauty through its paces and this time it is the Makeup Revolution’s Advanced Complexion Expert in Soft.
Spring has been acting a little odd this year: blazing days of sunshine have been interupted by ice cold winds, rain, and even hail! Undeterred, I am looking forward to proper warm weather with a lovely dark coral shade of polish on my nails this week.
Rose water is one of my go-to skincare products. I love a nice refreshing spray of toner after cleansing and rose happens to be one of my favorite scents. I have been trying another organic version by new brand Be.Loved: Rose Rain*.
The name of this polish doesn’t sound very appropriate for the lovely spring weather we are having right now, but I think this pale blue actually works very well in both winter and spring. It is that beautiful light blue that is just a few shades away from white.
Recently, I was jumped at the opportunity to work with the lovely Dutch web store Ditverzinjeniet (which translates as ‘you can’t make this up’). They are a great destination for quirky gifts, fun gadgets, and original design. After a bit of browsing, I found the perfect addition for my kitchen: the Qualy Hook Sparrow*.
Last week, I had a little serendipitious fashion moment in different shades of lilac. I had ordered new sneakers in this season’s in trend pastel shade. It is always exciting to rip open an online order to see the color in real life: sometimes it can be a bit disappointing but I was instantly in love this time around.
