Brush cleaning made easy

Makeup Revolution Pro Cleanse Brush Tool

We all know clean make-up brushes are important, yet I can’t be the only one struggling to wash them as often as I should. It is one of those chores that I just forget about and don’t really enjoy. I decided to try the Makeup Revolution Pro Brush Cleanse Tool to see if it would help make the job a little easier and quicker.

It really is quite simple to use: you slip the Pro Brush Cleanse Tool over your fingers and the ridges will help cleanse your brushes. There are special brush cleansers out there, but I tend to use baby shampoo (or to finish off shampoos I wasn’t impressed with). I have used this purple thingy a couple of times now and I love it.Makeup Revolution Pro Cleanse Brush Tool

The ridges make it easier to deep cleanse your brushes and get stubborn product out of the bristles. The entire process is more efficient and quicker than doing things by hand. The only thing I struggle with is the size of the surface: it is a little small for my bigger powder and face brushes.

At £4.99, this is a great little tool that helps the entire process along. I am keeping it in view in my bathroom as a reminder to cleanse my brushes a bit more often. I have noticed Real Techniques do a slightly larger version of this which seems even more convenient. Please let me know if you’ve tried that!

Oh, yes! Their things are amazing and since you are paying shipping, you may as well order more than one thing to make it worth-while. 😉 xx

Never used one of these but they sound rather interesting! I will need to try one out especially if it saves my hands feeling dry after all the brush washing!

I am definitely ordering the RT version seeing how much I like this smaller one. So easy to do a deep clean with these.

Finally, tips I can definitely use. I hate it when I buy so called high end brushes and after the first shampoo, the bristles pop out. But I prefer to apply foundation, etc. with brushes as opposed to sponges so when I find brushes that clean without shedding, I try to stock up.
