A classic with a twist: Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +

Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +

The last few months have been crazy busy and my skin has suffered. This isn’t because I skimp on my skincare routine – I actually love taking a little me time at night – but because I have been eating horribly. Lots of ready meals, alcohol, and sugary treats doesn’t just translate as bad news for my waist line, but also shows in blotchy and impure skin. I am slowly working back to eating healthy again, but to remedy my immediate skincare issues I have relied on two amazing products. You’ll have to wait for the second one till next week, but the first is Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+.

I adore Trilogy’s organic rosehip oil as it always works wonders for my skin and decided to go for this version with added antioxidants. Rosehip is a great balanced oil that manages to combat dehydration without being overly oily. The little twist in the form of antioxidants makes it more firming and improves the appearance of fine lines.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +

The Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antixodiant+ comes in a simple glass bottle with a dropper containing 30 ml. The oil has a deep yellow colour and an unobtrusive mild scent. It lasts quite a while for me, as I only use two to three drops a night. This completely organic face oil will set you back £26.50 / €34.95 / $38.50. Worth it?

I certainly think so. My skin has been looking a lot better since I started using this: well hydrated and more even in tone without angry red blotches. Different oils work best on different skin types, but anyone with a normal to dry skin or a tendency towards redness should try Trilogy’s rosehip oil. To be honest, I don’t think there is much difference between this antioxidant version and their normal organic rosehip oil but both are amazing and worth a try!

Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +

My mom swears by Rosehip oil but I tried and it breaks me out (😢). I so wish I could use it though because it has so many benefits.

Oh that is too bad! It really depends on your skin whether it works for you. You could try a mix: I love Antipodes divine face oil which combines avocado and rosehip.

I started using rosehip oil on my face last year after reading an article about it. It seems to work well with my skin and I’m telling everyone about it!

The original rosehip oil has been on my wishlist for a while. I have two other rosehip oils but I have to say that I hate the scent! I don’t think I’ve seen anyone mention the scent before so it must be just my fussy nose! xx

I understand what you mean about the scent: it is a little peculiar. I love the trilogy version because I find it has a mild unobtrusive scent, but if you truly hate it you might pick up on it a little more. xx

Thanks. I think they come from the tomato, cranberry, sunflower, and oat oils they added to the mix 😀 All natural.
