If you have read a few of my polish picks before, you may have noticed I am not a summer polish kinda girl. I love pastel shades with a grey undertone (think Farrow and Ball colors for nails), deep jewel tones, and dark shades. Not your typical bright summer fair, but I continue to rock them nonetheless. So, it shouldn’t really surprise you I have been wearing dark grey Truffe on my nails all week and I absolutely love the color.
This five free polish by Soigne Botanique is a deep grey shade aptly named after a truffle. For such a dark shade, it is a surprisingly low key and unobtrusive polish to wear. It also works well with just about any color in my wardrobe.I can definitely see myself wearing this a lot, especially paired with a single accent nail in a different shade.
These Soigne polished have a deep glossy finish that looks gorgeous without a top coat. They are easy to work with and apply evenly. I am seeing slight tip wear after two days, which is pretty decent for any polish on my weak and bendy nails. Definitely another winner by Soigne.
