Catrice is usually on top of their product names and Copper and Paste is no exception. Great pun for this l0nglasting copper eyeshadow pen with a metallic finish. Does the rest of this live up to that great name?
It certainly does! The soft creamy texture and small dome shape of the pencil make this eyeshadow very easy to apply. I use the pen to apply and then just soften the edges by blending with my fingers. Work fast though, because once this sets it doesn’t budge. I needed to grab a cleanser to remove the swatches I did for this post, which tells you all you need to know about the longevity of this eyeshadow.
The Stylo Eyeshadow Pen produces an intense color with a lovely metallic finish. I fell in love with this color in store, but I have to admit I am not the greatest fan of this copper shade with my compexion. On its own, it just makes me look a little ill somehow, I think due to the orange and pink undertones in the shade. I need to combine it with some darker browns to achieve a lovely look.
There are six shades of the Stylo Eyeshadow Pen available, each with lovely puns in the name. My personal favorite is pearly white Ick Bin Ein Pearliner! These pens retail for €3,99 each (about £3.40 / $4.47), so you get great value for money. Definitely worth a swatch next time you are near a Catrice counter.
