I adore organic beauty products and recently I have been testing out several new brands to find skincare that is both green and affordable. While browsing for a new face oil, I came across the Little Miracle Rosehip Serum by Balm Balm. I was rather curious about the brand as I have never tried anything by Balm Balm before and at a mere £14.50 (about $18 / €16) a bottle it certainly met the affordability criterium. So, is this a little miracle?
This 30 ml bottle contains a blend of rosehip, jojoba and borage oils that has been infused with frankincense, rose geranium, palmarosa, juniper and mandarin essential oils. This produces a pale yellow face oil with a sweet but natural scent. It’s present, but not overpowering.
I have been using the Little Miracle Rosehip Serum at night instead of a night cream: simply distribute a few drops on cleansed skin and massage a little (if you have time). You really don’t need much product and the oil absorbs quickly leaving your skin soft and hydrated. Rosehip oil is very versatile and can be used on many skintypes from oily to slightly dry, though really dry skins might need a more intense oil. It also works wonders on dehydrated skin.
I am really impressed by this oil, given the completely organic ingredients and low price point. This lovely product shows that natural skincare doesn’t have to be expensive. It has made me really curious about the rest of the Balm Balm range and I have already lined up my next few products to try.Have you ever tried anything from the brand and if so, any recommendations?
