A serendipitous little Olympic theme to today’s post with this bronze Essence 2 in 1 eyeshadow & liner. These convenient eyeshadow pens are having a little moment, so I decided to grab this budget version by Essence to test it for myself.
No matter how many neutral eyeshadow palettes I own, there will always be space for one more in my heart and make-up drawer. Luckily, this beautiful and versatile Chocolate Nude palette by Catrice won’t break the bank.
My favorite eye shadow palettes are from budget brand Makeup Revolultion. Not budget palettes, mind you, but overall favorite! I adore my Charlotte Tilbury quad and other high end eye shadows, but nothing beats the quality and price of these Redemption palettes.
I am usually a neutral kinda girl when it comes to my eye shadow. Browns, beige tones, and perhaps a hint of pink here and there are definitely my safe zone. I rather surprised myself with a longing for a green eye shadow when fall came around and I ended up purchasing a solo shadow from the new H&M Beauty Department: Moss it Over.
Eyeshadow is a marvelous invention that come in countless shades, yet somehow I always end up firmly in my safe zone of neutral and brown shades. Although I have been experimenting a little recently, it should come as no surprise that the first H&M eyeshadow I picked up is a lovely bronze.
